A Little Leaf
by Adam Playford

As I sit here
And watch the trees
And ponder the inherent beauty and logic of nature
I try to imagine a little leaf
Picking up a gun and killing a few million other leaves
And yet I cannot
For nature
Knows better
Is so much more sensible
Than man
